I can just picture myself behind the "wheel" in each of your comments. Before I try it again, I will definitely have some alcoholic beverage help--to bolster my courage, and free my inhibited geometiric nature.NeverBoredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17864997245809631313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344904739833956385.post-85567617014012155762010-05-26T22:20:27.605-05:002010-05-26T22:20:27.605-05:00Hahahahahahaha! And I find myself tensing up while stippling, but I am much more relaxed when straight line quilting. I still make myself stipple, though. Making myself work outside my comfort zone I guess.SueWishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08711512451789269348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344904739833956385.post-8389837132719414242010-05-26T22:10:05.552-05:002010-05-26T22:10:05.552-05:00When I got to "where-am-I-going, where-am-I-g...When I got to "where-am-I-going, where-am-I-going, where-am-I-going!!" I had to stifle a laugh so as not to interrupt E's TV viewing. I was picturing the machine kind of getting away from you and the drastic efforts at recovery. I had kind of a Lucille Ball image for a moment. It's still making me chuckle.GaAmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07645536686358270199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344904739833956385.post-8541738098999129532010-05-26T17:38:21.945-05:002010-05-26T17:38:21.945-05:00Oh this was way toooooo funny. Cause I know I do the same thing, and sure everyone else has crazy thoughts going through their minds while quilting.

Blessings,
JillyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344904739833956385.post-22685269077424756002010-05-26T16:41:47.335-05:002010-05-26T16:41:47.335-05:00Hey P , I just got up.

Well, at least I've got that to look forward to. :)

Sarah: You're probably right about the spray. Especially with this batting, the hairspray is not holding too well.Paulettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06181665241824945247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344904739833956385.post-91926823887229104182010-05-26T14:17:44.101-05:002010-05-26T14:17:44.101-05:00So funny - and yet I feel your pain! Having now quilted with both hair spray and quilt basting spray, I think I can safely say that FMQ might be easier for you with the quilt basting spray - it holds better! I've got one more in the stack for straight line quilting, then I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and do some FMQ on the last one - so I will be joining you in your misery!!Sarah Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18393284767325742399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4344904739833956385.post-23785030128404582152010-05-26T13:37:04.916-05:002010-05-26T13:37:04.916-05:00LOL! Hey, I think you've got it now! :-) If you keep at it though, I promise it will go from merely terrifying to somewhat funly terrifying like a roller-coaster. (And yes, I know funly isn't a word, but I couldn't think of any other way to express it.)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01805403370463885686noreply@blogger.com
