The front strip is a little swatch of Frolic that Elizabeth thought would go well with the yellow floral, and she was so right. It's perfect! Thanks, E.!
(The flash made the colors look a bit bright/orangey; it's really more subdued.) |
Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict has a TGIF!~Thank Goodness It's Finished! linky on her blog today for anyone wanting to share their Friday finishes, if you usually link to Amy's Sew & Tell but don't have anything Amy Butler-related to show today. So nice of Sarah to do that! Check it out!
I love that clutch, P.! And thanks to you, I've got a bit of that beautiful cheery yellow fabric too - maybe I should make myself a clutch bag too!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you linked up with me - and thanks for the plug! The link will be open until midnight on Saturday, CST.
Green and yellow together--you forgot to mention the Packers!!!! :-D
ReplyDeleteI love those little clutches. I'm trying to decide how best to use the yellow fabric you sent me. I pulled it out of the package and it screamed "Wouldn't I be a pretty, feminine apron".
Isn't it amazing how a little creative time can help get us out of a funk. I loved seeing that fabric used for one of your beautiful clutches. Makes me think of how I'm going to use my 1/2 yard of fabric.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Jane
I've seen that fabric somewhere! You put it to good use. Very cute:) And I'm glad you beat the funk!
ReplyDeleteOh, that turned out SO cute! I love it! The green check on the inside is just right! Sewing always makes me happy too. Glad you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous clutch, P! I love the happy, spring colors, and Elizabeth was right about that piece of Frolic.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful P. You're on a roll with those gorgeous cluthes of yours.
