Right now it is at peak, a brilliant yellow-gold. These photos were taken just before sunset yesterday.
Fall colors are my favorite thing this week!
Edited to add: I noticed just this morning that my neighbor's maple tree is absolutely brilliant. I just took these from my upstairs window.

beautiful pictures! We don't get many colors here in Northern California .. not until later anyway.
What a magnificent tree and beautiful golden foliage. Where don't get the colours of fall here in Queensland so it's a real treat to see the splendour.
Beautiful. That's one think I miss about living in Queensland, the fall colours, it's just too warm up here for the leaves of deciduous trees to change to beautiful colours.
Well you've won the hearts of all us Queenslanders with this one. Many of us go south on holidays just to get a glimpse of this.
Cheers
Lovely, a great FTF. I love this time of year for the colours, although in the UK its gone a big screwy in the last week or so. We had a heatwave (hotter than the whole summer) and today its gone freezing so the poor trees are totally confused!
Fabulous photos. I love this time of year but dred what is to come as I detest winter.
But oh the beauty of the trees at this time of year.
Thanks for the treats.
I do believe the fall colours in Northern America are quite different to those of us in Australia. Yours seem more vibrant somehow.
Lovely pictures P. I cant wait for some snow ones. Im enjoying blossom and leaves re-appearing over here.
The Ash and Maple trees are beautiful! Ours are starting to turn also and our neighbor has a beautiful maple that is still green. I watch every day waiting for the change.
Beautiful photos! Fall is a special time of year.
Beautiful photos. I'm with you, I love the fall colors. I noticed driving home from work yesterday taht the leaves are just beginning to change color here.
What a wonderful display! I love the fall colors. Unfortunatly the only colors we are getting are brown and that dull yellow from when the tree leafs are wilting from lack of water.
